Disappearance of Citizen Bleck in Jacmel: The KONA Party Calls for a Serious Investigation and the Revelation of the Truth

JACMEL, Haiti. — The Konbit Nasyonal (KONA) political party has expressed its deep solidarity with the family of citizen Bleck and the entire population of Jacmel following his disappearance under circumstances deemed troubling and concerning. In a public statement made available this March 8, the political group calls on police and judicial authorities to shed full light on this matter, which is causing concern and questions within the community.

According to KONA, the disappearance of this citizen goes beyond a simple family tragedy and raises concerns about collective security in the city of Jacmel. The party emphasizes that this painful event challenges the national conscience and demands a clear response from institutions responsible for upholding the law.

In this context marked by emotion and tension within public opinion, the party calls for responsibility and prudence in handling this matter. KONA warns against hasty accusations, defamation campaigns, or attempts at political opportunism likely to exacerbate the family's pain and divert attention from the main objective: the search for truth.

The political group urges the Haitian National Police (PNH), particularly the Departmental Judicial Police Service (SDPJ), as well as the competent judicial authorities, to mobilize all necessary means to conduct a thorough, independent, and transparent investigation. If criminal acts are confirmed, KONA insists that the perpetrators and accomplices be identified, arrested, and brought to justice in accordance with current laws.
