222 years of pride… and yet so much inertia.

Since Vertières, November 18, 1803, our people rose with one voice, one heart, one soul, to affirm the dignity of the Black race and the freedom of the oppressed. But today, as we celebrate this glorious heritage, Haiti is lost at a dangerous crossroads. The country needs new momentum, the unity of 1803.
The country needs the reincarnation of the great Capois-La-Mort.
The country needs a positive conspiracy, without pretense, without « partner's mouth, adversary's heart », for a genuine national dialogue on peace, security, and development. What we no longer need are disguised treaties, financed by powers that foster instability to better dominate. Haiti can no longer be the playground for forces that profit from its open wounds. This is not a time for judgment, but for clarity.
This message is a cry of conscience, a call for collective self-reassertion. May the blood of our brothers and sisters cease, may dignity, order, and hope be reborn. To the authentic sons and daughters of this country, from here or elsewhere:
