The Role of Youth in a Sociopolitical and Diplomatic Crisis

In the most critical moments of a people's history, it is often the youth who embody the moral compass, the breath of renewal, and the matrix of a future to be rebuilt. Faced with the collapse of our institutions, normalized international interference, endemic insecurity, and the unconstitutionality of de facto regimes, Haitian youth can neither remain spectators nor silent hostages of fate. They must become the active conscience of the nation. The current crisis is not only political; it is anthropological, axiological, structural. It challenges our relationship with sovereignty, legitimacy, the State, and law. In this organized chaos, our youth must refuse resignation. They must rise to the level of historical demands, not merely as a force of protest, but as a constituent force, entrusted with the popular will. We issue a solemn call for national and international mobilization. Against systemic interference that infantilizes our diplomacy. Against insecurity that disintegrates our social fabric. Against chronic unconstitutionality that destroys the republican pact. Youth do not ask for favors; they demand justice, vision, and equity. They do not beg for a role; they assert their right to participate in democratic rebuilding. It is time for a new chapter in our history to open, written by the clear-sighted, competent, and patriotic hands of our generation. Because a democracy without youth is a political corpse.
