Founded on February 17, 2025, Identité Nationale is a social and cultural organization dedicated to promoting Haitian identity. Its mission is to collaborate with all organized sectors that believe in the richness and strength of national identity.
The main objective of Identité Nationale is to inform the people about their rights and duties through quality information and training initiatives, accessible at all levels. The organization will implement a vast civic education program, notably through a show titled « Identité Nationale », broadcast on Radio Télé Uni 102.7 FM and Channel 6. These training sessions will also be provided in all gathering spaces: courtyards, fields, neighborhoods, communal sections, schools, churches, peristyles, etc.
Through its program and initiatives, Identité Nationale will contribute to a better understanding among the people of the role of the Haitian State, its philosophy, its ideology, as well as the functioning of its institutions. It also commits to collecting the demands of various sectors of national life and bringing them to the attention of competent authorities, to encourage them to provide concrete responses.
Identité Nationale defends and promotes the fundamental values of the Haitian people: patrimonial, historical, cultural, economic values, as well as the foundations of our civilization. To successfully carry out its mission, the organization is structured into eight commissions:
Archives Commission
Culture Commission
Rights and Duties Commission
History and Geography Commission
Agriculture and Processing Commission
Technical and Telecommunications Commission
Economy and Finance Commission
The organization will also support small, medium, and large enterprises engaged in local production, regardless of their field of activity. It will help publicize their history, their evolution, as well as the quality of the products and services they offer.
The work ahead is vast and demanding. But we firmly believe that unity is strength. Let us unite, in the name of our ancestors, to continue the work they began. For a people who deny their identity are a people condemned to disappear.
If we want to resolve the major crises of contemporary Haitian society, we must first confront the identity crisis. Identité Nationale is aware of this and intends to play its full role in this reconstruction. All those who recognize themselves as true Haitians have an interest in uniting to strengthen our collective identity.
We must not miss this opportunity. We are in 2025. In 2054, we will celebrate 250 years of independence. Identité Nationale is working today to ensure that this celebration takes place in peace, dignity, and joy. But if we do not act now to resolve our identity crisis, it is to be feared that by 2054, Haitian civilization will be on the verge of disappearing.
We call on all organizations, institutions, and personalities who share our vision: let us come together to accomplish this great task. For, as the Haitian proverb says: « Yon sèl dwèt pa manje kalalou. » It is together, in unity, that we will succeed.
The identity of a nation is its soul. National production is the strength and priority of Identité Nationale. If we do not seek to affirm our identity as a nation, we will lose our dignity as a people.
