A Strong Signal of Institutional Cohesion
During this meeting, the President of the CPT emphasized, with the support of the Head of Government, the authorities' determination to mobilize all necessary means to meet the expectations of the Haitian people. The priorities set include :
- Strengthening the fight against insecurity and protecting the population;
- Consolidating trust between republican institutions and citizens;
- Organizing an inclusive and impartial electoral process, in accordance with democratic standards;
- Increasing the CEP's budget to enhance the transparency and effectiveness of the electoral process.
Towards a More Credible Electoral Process
Through this initiative, the Transitional Presidential Council, the Government, and the CEP intend to display unambiguous unity, a guarantee of credibility and stability at a crucial moment for the future of the Republic.
The Haitian State wants to guarantee sovereignty and democracy, while affirming its will to create the necessary conditions for organizing free and fair elections.
By sending this message of unity and determination, the transitional authorities seek to reassure a population in search of security, stability, and clear democratic prospects.
