Two Fugitives Summoned in Moise Case by Court of Appeal on January 27

Dimitry Hérard and Jean Laguel Civil, the highest security officials of the National Palace under the Jovenel era, who have been on the run since last March's spectacular escape, are due to appear before the Court of Appeal on January 27.

The announcement was made this Monday, January 20, 2025, during a hearing at the Court of Appeal, where defendants in the assassination of former President Jovenel Moise, including Joseph Félix Badio, presented as one of the masterminds of the crime, appeared.

The names of the two former security officials of the ex-president were mentioned in court this Monday.

However, having escaped from prison 10 months ago, they were represented by their lawyers, Me Reynold Georges and Me Max Standley Lafortune.
