We observe a new era in Haitian politics with the appointment of Mr. Vladimir Paraison as the new Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH).
GRANAC acknowledges this change and expresses hope that our country can regain peace and security under the governance of this new Director. However, the GRANAC Organization does not give a blank check. This means that the Director General of the PNH must not act as he pleases, but must tackle the scourge of insecurity with determination and efficiency. In this sense, we demand that the new DG place his actions exclusively at the service of the Haitian people.
GRANAC wishes for a new start with the new CTP Coordinator, Mr. Laurent Saint-Cir, and the new Director General of the National Police. We extend our welcome and wishes for success in their duties, while reaffirming our vigilance and determination to denounce any deviation, and to remain firmly committed to the legitimate demands of the population.
